Landslip Stabilisation – Cobb Road, Lyme Regis

In late 2024, a major landslip on Cobb Road in Lyme Regis threatened nearby properties and road safety. Hansford Construction was appointed to carry out emergency groundworks and slope stabilisation, ensuring the area was made safe and structurally secure.

Project Summary: The works involved excavation, new drainage installation, sheet piling, and reinforced concrete retaining walls to stabilise the slope and prevent further movement. Despite difficult weather and access conditions, the project was completed efficiently and to a high standard, restoring safety and stability to the hillside.
